WSH01 Maul Publisher Training Session

This workshop is designed to show how you set up Maul Publisher to create documents on the eComStation platform. One can never be certain how such a workshop will evolve on the day, but the plan is to show the following:

• Installation - FreeType, ePDF, quePDF, GhostScript, and sane2twain.
• Setup - How to set up pages to work how you want.
• Clipart - How to create labels or logos, how to make them into clipart, exporting and printing.
• Codepages - The details on languages and codepages in Maul, why you use a particular codepage and what the consequences are.
• Scanning and image manipulation - All about sane2twain scanning, cropping, tweaking, scaling, and exporting images. Using OS/2 or Windows Metafiles.

The idea of this workshop is that people bring their own laptop, and ask real-world questions. This workshop will take 1/2 a day, as there is a lot of ground to cover.
